Apart from the playground’s contemporary additions, Blumsen also boasts playground classics like the fun-filled seesaw. Looking to get out of the sun? Take a quick walk down one of the many forest pathways surrounding the park.

Dufferin Park

The Dufferin Park playground makes for an imaginative adventure like no other. The large red, white and black structure is guaranteed to keep your children busy climbing and enjoying themselves. In addition, this park allows children to soar into the air using one of its many swingsets. The round disk swing is a fan favourite and a great way to share the playgrounds amenities with new friends. Younger children can also enjoy the miniature train set next to the main playground. Furthermore, the nearby soccer field and basketball court make for another fun activity after the playground.

Sunnyside Park

Boasting activities of all kinds, your kids will easily spend hours here in Sunnyside Park. Two playgrounds, an outdoor pool, sports fields, baseball diamonds, and tennis courts are all found within the park’s 15 acre boundaries. Kids will not only love the playground’s webbed net structure, slides, swings, and more, but they’ll love the wide open space to run around and engage their imaginations.

Oliver Park

Set in the centre of the Morgan Heights neighbourhood, Oliver Park is the home to a playground built for all ages. The play area boasts a smaller structure for younger children and a taller climbing structure for their older kids. However, the main highlight of the park is the rope course built for those looking for an adventurous twist to their outdoor activities. In addition to the playground’s range of amenities, the park provides ample seating area for parents to use while their children are enjoying themselves.

Centennial Park’s All Abilities Playground

The City of White Rock is set to complete its new all abilities and all ages playground in Centennial Park, right by Ruth Johnson Park. This project marks another step the community is taking towards promoting inclusivity and healthy living. As the first phase of a proposed network of athletic equipment, this playground will connect White Rock’s parks. A naming contest went underway earlier this summer and the chosen name is set to be revealed during the park’s grand opening later this year.
