Easter weekend is officially upon us! Whether the holiday is important to you for reasons of faith, or it’s simply a long weekend to spend extra family time, there are plenty of ways to celebrate. Lucky for you, the Lower Mainland offers plenty of options to check out!
Old-Fashioned Easter Celebration
First off, celebrate Easter the old-fashioned way at Historic Stewart Farm. This event is free and offers exciting Easter activities appropriate for all ages. Enjoy the likes of do-it-yourself rabbit ears, egg-shaped cookie decorating, scavenger hunts, and face painting! It’s the perfect spot to make memories and take unforgettable photos to commemorate a special day with the family – you won’t want to miss out.

Easter Party Animals
Another fun option this Easter weekend is held at the Museum of Surrey. Tap into your animal-loving side and have an unforgettable visit with local rescue organizations. Come meet Easter bunnies, dogs, and cats, while partaking in the egg hunt. This event also includes games and crafts. Sure to have your kids smiling bunny-ear-to-bunny-ear!

Easter Bash Swims
On April 21st, Grandview Heights Aquatic Centre, Surrey Sports & Leisure Complex, and Guildford Recreation Centre will all be hosting memorable Easter egg hunts. But there’s a twist… These hunts will be held underwater! On top of this excitement, there will be crafts and games to play for those who don’t feel like swimming. Get in the spirit of Easter by trying something new!

Easter Train in Stanley Park
Last but certainly not least – if you’re up for a drive, check out the Easter Train at Stanley Park! Hosted from April 18th – 22nd, this is a lovely way to welcome spring and the Easter weekend. Ride the Easter train, join in on the Easter egg hunt, and spend some quality time with the Easter Bunny himself!

White Rock, South Surrey, and the Lower Mainland offer an a-bunny-dance of festivities. Don’t miss out on the good times!
